IT Technician

As a result of our company growth, we are seeking an IT Support Technician in McMinnville, Oregon for In-House and remote support. Focus of the job will be assisting both walk-in & remote customers with their questions about any software and computing platforms to the best of their ability in a professional and courteous manner. In addition, responsibilities will include: Respond to calls and emails from users on support related issues.
Provide Level 1 remote troubleshooting support on desktop and software issues
Follow provided procedures for remote user password resets and new user creation
Document all reported incidents and help identify trends to assist in future problem resolution
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS or related field of study
Excellent phone etiquette and face to face customer service skills
Some software programing preferred.
Must be familiar with common office productivity software applications
Excellent judgment skills to be able to properly evaluate situations and immediately provide effective solutions
Be detail-oriented, organized, dependable, and a team player
